Terms & Conditions

Last updated: May 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern all sales contract relations between SOTEO S.R.L. (hereinafter 'Soteo') and consumers (hereinafter 'Customer' or 'you') purchasing goods through our online storefront within the European Economic Area (EEA) and the European Union. A consumer is defined as any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, craft, or profession. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

The presentation of products on our storefront does not constitute a legally binding offer, but rather an invitation to order. When you place an order by clicking the checkout button, you make a binding offer to purchase the goods in your cart. Soteo will immediately send an automated acknowledgment email. This acknowledgment does not constitute acceptance of the contract. The contract is officially concluded only when we dispatch the goods and send you a formal shipping confirmation email.

All prices displayed on the storefront are in the selected currency, include the statutory Value Added Tax (VAT) rate of the destination country, and are exclusive of delivery charges unless specified otherwise. Payment must be made in full using our secure integrated payment options (including credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or SEPA bank transfer) before dispatch. Title to the goods remains with Soteo until full payment is received.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under EU consumer protection regulations, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force. Soteo reserves the right to amend these Terms to reflect changes in legislation, regulatory requirements, or business operations. Unresolved B2C disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Romania, without prejudice to your mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.

Under EU Directive 2019/771, consumers benefit from a statutory 2-year warranty for conformity of goods. In the event of a product defect or non-conformity existing at the time of delivery, you have the right to request repair or replacement free of charge. If these remedies are impossible or disproportionate, you may request an appropriate price reduction or cancel the contract for a full refund.
